The objectives of the Club shall be:
To further the advancement of the Australian Shepherd breed.
To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Australian Shepherds.
To urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the AKC as the only standard of excellence by which the Australian Shepherd shall be judged.
To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike activity at dog shows, obedience trials, tracking tests, agility trials, lure coursing, herding trials, and any other event for which the club is eligible under the Rules and Regulations of the AKC.
To conduct sanctioned matches at same.
